Summary of Interview 090208B with Anonymous
In the second part of her interview Anonymous told about the people of the socialist period, how they worked like they were born to work, they worked sincerely and ceaselessly for many hours. Along with doing much work the people of that time raised their children and managed their work and life issues. It is a common and widespread image of the people of that time.
She spoke of her thoughts on democracy, its good and bad sides, the changes that happened in society, how the privatization process had been carried out and what she got out of it. She recalled how her husband first met his wife and how they got married, how he spent his childhood, what school he attended and what kind of work he did, how he managed the life. Anonymous’s husband talked a little about the history of the heroic Tüvdengiin Bor.
While visiting her aunt in Inner Mongolia they had observed that their herders knew more of the Mongolian customs than the Mongolians living here and they differed much from them. She spoke of the Tsagaan Sar ceremonies they had there and how she was surprised at some things and sometimes she had seen funny things there.
Many negative changes are observed in the nature and many mines are being opened in Ömnögovi aimag which is good from the one side, and from the other side it has negative consequences, she said.
Anonymous has an amazing memory, she has a keen eye, she is wise and industrious, she has learned to struggle for the sake of life, she has been through hardships since her birth, she has an orderly way of talking and she is a wonderful mother and a woman. It all could be seen from her interview and you feel proud of her.
